Here is a fun idea you can do with envelopes on your layouts or with using smaller envelopes you could use this idea on cards.
Basically take two envelopes of the same size, have one right way up and the other underneath the first but upside down. Add photos in each envelope - or stamped images for cards.
You can decorate the envelopes and the rest of your layout or card. I would love to see what you create using this idea. Feel free to email your creations to megan@betterscrapbooking.co.nz or upload them to our online gallery (click here)

Waterspout Auckland Harbour
Wow, the weather has been crazy this week over the country. Here in Auckland on Wednesday 15th February there were two waterspouts in Auckland's harbour.
Here is photo I found from the New Zealand Herald website. It was taken from the ASB tower in town - Brad works on the 26th floor of the ASB tower, so this is probably like what he saw.
The photo was taken by Ian Hay.

Just because I love Doilies
I just had to create this layout and share it with you. This is to showcase the Cheery Lynn Designs Enchanted Kiwi Doily Die. Doilies are so beautiful and intricate. This doily not only has the delicate pieces cut out but as you cut it also embosses at the same time.
This die is available now at our online shop.

Cheery Lynn Design Tropical Flourish
I just had to have a play this morning with the Cheery Lynn Designs Tropical Flourish die. This is a lovely vine type flourish which you can embellish with flowers and bling.
For this card I used some Kraft cardstock and embossed it using the Damask embossing folder (available from our online shop, click here and in-store) which then I inked over to highlight the damask design. I added my Tropical Flourish die-cut (die available from our online shop, click here and in-store) to a nice shapely mat then added some hand made flowers with bling and pearls. This would also look fabulous on a layout or canvas. Let's see what you create with yours!
